Made my 3 Month Goal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey all, I just wanted to share a couple of WOW moments. I don't have my 3 month check up until Thursday, but Tuesdays are my day to weigh in at home. I had set a goal a while back to be at 175 by my 3 month check up and as of this morning, I've met it! I was 174.8 (just by the skin of my teeth, I know!) which means I am down over 52 pounds in 3 months! I have just under 35 pounds to reach my goal of 140 (doctor's goal is only 75% of excess weight which would be around 167, 154 puts me at a normal BMI, but my personal goal is 140). Hopefully, I can shed another pound before Thursday so I will be firmly below my goal! Another couple of things yesterday that were WOW for me. I was putting in an exercise video dressed in a spandex short sleeve top and bike shorts and my husband says to me, "you are shrinking before my eyes!". I cannot tell you how good that made me feel. He has always been really good about telling me how nice I look, etc. (no matter what weight), but this really made my day. Then, I exchanged a skirt I got for my birthday to get a smaller size so it would last longer. The one I originally got was a little snug, but I thought it would still be better to get a smaller one that I could start wearing in a while and for longer. So, last night when I got home from the store I thought I'd try it on to see how much I'd need to lose to wear it. And, to my surprise, it fit! A little snug in the waist so 5 pounds would be better, but it actually zipped and hooked! It was a size 10!! Now I'm hoping it won't be too big for our trip to Vegas in 5 1/2 weeks! Anyway, I just wanted to share in my joy and glee!! It's just so nice to look in the mirror and think, "wow, I'm actually starting to look good" instead of "ugh, I look like a beached whale!"
