GRACE AND I ARE HOME _ AGAIN!!!!!!!!

HI Everyone, We are back home and did not have to be readmitted after all. We consulted with a doctor who looked at a secondary blood test result and it was determined that her kidneys are OK! Praise the Lord The plan is to 1) stop the feeding tube 2) reevaluate her levels on Friday (another blood test) and 3) follow up with the GI doctor on an outpatient basis. When we consulted with him, we talked about her weight gain. He advised us that by her gaining weight with the tube it proved that her body is able to absorb the extra calories and store them. They were previously concerned about this one item. He did say that she was gaining weight too fast. I just can't win for losing. Thanks for the prayers. They worked and we are home to sleep in our own beds tonight! God Bless, Jen
