Martina Mcbride Concert

First I have to apologize for going into lurker mode again, I haven't been around much lately, but I am thinking of you all. I just had to share with you a "burst my bubble" moment I had last night. I took my daughter to martina Mcbride concert and i was on cloud nine. She is one of my favorite singers, and she sings a song that I dedicated to my little girl on my wedding day, "In My Daughter's Eyes". Anyhow to get to the point, I was thrilled when we had to go through the turn thingy at the entrance and I actually fit, and I also fit comfortably in those ridiculously small seats they have. Then I went up to look at the T-shirts, i was going to buy one for me and one for Hanna. Well the lady in front of me was commenting on the sizes and turned to me and said "I guess they forgot about us fat girls when they made the T-shirts." I laughed with her, then walked away. I wanted to cry. I have been so happy with my progress, I guess I didn't really consider myself a "fat girl" anymore, I have almost lost 100 pounds, and 10 sizes! That comment really hit home that I still have a long way to go, what a reality check. It really hurt my feelings, and I wish i had said something, but I know she was right. the good news is that concert rocked! It was the best I had been to in years, that girl has an incredible voice!
