OK---so did I miss something?

Did we ever decide a firm date for the January get together? And where we are staying, etc....? I need details, so I can get a plane ticket and make plans. I see people mentioning the get together, but I missed when things got definitively decided. Please clue me in, I'm having flashbacks to jr high about being left out! Cathy

I am working on hotel rates for San Diego. Once the hotel is set I will also get a group contract with Thrifty Car Rental and American Airlines. American is 5% off any published fare.

Can you do anything with Amtrak?

Thank you for all the replies----- can we work on nailing down a date faster? I'm open to dates, really. I can help if needed in any way. I'm concerned cuz I'm hearing that air rates will continue to go up and our hope for a best price is to buy sooner. Yes, we're working on the date with the hotels and should have it announced in the next week. Regarding MLK weekend, when we originally queried the group the majority of respondents did not want that weekend because they would have child related obligations so we went away from that date.
