4.5 lbs in a month?

Over the last four weeks, I have lost 4.5lbs. That's it. Many people lose that or more in a week...but it took me a month. What do you think about this? I doubt there is anyone else in the same boat, but if so, let me know so I don't feel like a complete anomaly. Chele

Last month I only lost 7lb.s. It was my slowest yet. I am hoping it was just a "phase". I only lose about 13 a month on average anyway, which seems like too slow to me. I don't have any explanation and my Dr. seemed to be fine with my weight loss. Leeanne

I gained this past week ... putting me at 8.6 pounds lost for the last 4 weeks. I am frustrated ... I think I weigh quite a bit more than you - I am at 243.4 today. I go to see my surgeon tomorrow ... I can hardly freakin weight ... wait. wallowing in self pitty today, God bless, Jen

It seems like we should all be slowing down, at least to some degree. However, 4.5 lbs in a month seems ridiculous to me. Thanks, Cara. Chele

Count me in the 'slow loser club' - I have lost inches but am not seeing much movement in the scale.......I look at the big picture and know it will eventually come off.....

Oh that must really be frustrating. Take all the months you have been loosing and average them out. See what that number is, maybe not using the first month. I think I only lost 8lbs. last month, but if I go from the middle of last month till now, i have lost alot more, the 8lbs is from the first to the first. I also have started getting in more calories this month and I am seeing a much bigger drop than I use to. Up from 500 a day to around 800 a day. Are you getting your water in and is this the time of that time? See if you don't drop more next week to make up for the lower this month? I am just giving you what I did each month. My loss has been slow. I see quite a few who have lost 100lbs by now and I have lost 52, and some were the same BMI as me to start. I've seen some who will be at goal next month. It hurts, I know.
