4.5 lbs in a month?

"I am just giving you what I did each month. My loss has been slow. I see quite a few who have lost 100lbs by now and I have lost 52, and some were the same BMI as me to start. I've seen some who will be at goal next month. It hurts, I know." **** I'm truly happy for them, but I just wonder why I can't be in that "club". It's certainly not because of a lack of effort on my part. To be at goal next month would blow me away! I just want to be at goal by my 40th birthday which is next April and now I'm wondering if I can even pull that off. Chele

I only wrote what I did because I was hoping to make you feel better, by see it a different way. I dont like you feeling down and worried about it. But as usual, others have done a better job. It will work, you will find your key, I know it.

I just got over a month long plateau where I didn't lose anything. Don't worry. Just keep doing what you're supposed to be doing and it will all work out.

I'm right there with you Chele. I don't like it one bit!! But I keep telling myself that it's better than not losing anything.

I noticed this past month was a huge slow down too. I havent been doing anything different, I know that the weekends are a bit different for everyone but I struggle with everything over the weekends. I also know that aunt flo plays a big part in it all too. Maybe this is one reason I havent lost much this month!! Keep your chin up girl, we will get there together!! Steph

Thanks, Steph. I am on cycle day 6, so I'm sure that has something to do with it. I can feel the fluid retention in my calves and my left foot is completely swollen due to me breaking my toe! Chele

Hi Chele: Our body is an organism with its own wisdom.... We have to slow down a bit the loosing to avoid problems. Do not get discouraged follow up your nutritionist instructions and you will go down again. It is normal to slow down and the second half of the way is harder....Work on your motivation, you can do it!!! Alejandro from Guadalajara Mexico
