Hi Amy
I also had my surgery on the fifth. I am doing ok I suppose. I am having some gas / constipation pains in the lower left side of my belly..at least I hope that is what it is...
I am also on full liquids and I had diarrhea until then now this, I would rather have the runs..SORRY
I am getting more sleep these days. At least 3 hours stints which is great. I have lost a few pounds and need to update my signature...I haven't had any trouble with the SF stuff, or anything sweet. Is a matter of fact I am a meat and potatoes gal and have been craving sweet stuff. Weird huh.
Oh well any insight on my side pain let me know
God Bless
Lisa
You look awesome! Don't worry the tube will come out Monday and all will be well.
Video is great! I haven't even checked out U tube for WLS stuff. There is sooo much online these days! I love it!
Also weight loss results so far is amazing! I weighed 207 Monday morning of surgery and weighed 214 yesterday! Yikes. I guess this can be normal. I still am bloated or swollen in tummy plus I haven't pooped since Monday morning!
Keep posting and I have been thinking about you(and your tube),

Wishing you great sucess with your surgery! I am having my surgery on January 27. I can't believe how fast 6 months has gone by, before we know it we will be 6 month post-op and on our way to a healther life. Good luck to you!
I did however come home today with a JP drain which will come out at my post op visit Tuesday. All of our surgeons use different safety measures and they really can be a pain, but keep us healhy!
Good luck! I know i am counting the days til my drain comes out Tuesday!

Keep your head up!!!
My surgery date is Jan 26th. I feel confident and blessed that everything will go fine. I am however curious how much you have lost already. You can email me at ibpoetry@aim
I look forward to hearing from you

I know you must be upset but please don't give up on a chance to be a healtier you. You have the urges of the holidays behind you so the next 3 weeks can be focused on what you have to do to be prepared for the surgery.
This liquid diet not only helps you to loose weight prior to the surgery, but it prepares your head for post op too. I have essentially been on liquids since Jan 2nd, and I would get to change until I move to stage 3 late next week. The gift is just three weeks away, you can do this. Turn your disappointment into determination and fight the urges to give up! You can do it, we're here to support and help you any way we can.
Big Warm Mom Hug,
Barb
