I guess I don't need to repeat what everyone else is saying, but I am feeling the same way. My surgery is on the 14th and it's 4 hrs. away from home so that makes me feel even worse. I'm glad to have everyone's support we can do this together! Thanks for all the prayers and thoughts in advance. Save me some room on the losers bench!! :)

You cheated - but look how much weight you have already lost! If you look at my numbers, I only lost about 5 lbs in the preop time because I cheated on occasion the first few days. I finally made it without cheating 4 days prior to banding. Now that I am banded, I am sticking to the rules. You will be able to do this! I think your weight loss so far is really great!

Hi there! Yep - I had a hard time starting liquids also, but now that I had surgery I am sticking to the rules rigidly. It's easier when I think about my incisions! Also, I pretty much knew there would be people around me that will sabotage, so I just mentally steeled myself. Not easy at times, but necessary. Take care!

When I got home from the hospital on Tuesday, the first thing I wanted to do was take a nap. After the nap I felt 100% better - like the anesthesia wooziness was going away. I also felt the pain was not bad at all - in fact I didn't take any pain meds except at bedtime because my mom thought it was a good idea - and I agreed just in case it's better to be comfortable and try to get a good night of sleep.
Day 2 for me was sore muscles day - trying to move around without straining my incisions! But now I am on Day 3 and the soreness is better. I was able to sleep on my side last night. So I want you to know that by Day 3-4 you are going to start to feel much better!
