Still not back to self

J,
Sure hope you are feeling better soon. My doctor did a B12 injection for me and then also suggested I take sublinqual B12 (they are tiny and dissolve under the tongue). She said it was pretty routine to do this. Also your body is healing so it needs more sleep. Part of the tiredness could be from the liquids too. Definitely discuss with the doctor.

I'll be 8 weeks out on tuesday and just starting to get back
to my self. Mary is right about the B12, my surgeon suggested
drinking sugar free Red Bull. It is just B6 and B12. I can't
stand the taste but lost of people love it. I also found that
I didn't start getting my energy bac****il I started walking.
It is amazing how fast my muscles turned into jelly. Losing
41 pds in 5 weeks is great, your body must be going through
shock. Between the surgery and the weight loss. It sounds
like your really doing great. It gets easier and easier and
You'll be feeling even better than your old self before you
know it. Good Luck,
Eileen
Thank you to the both of you. I do get my third B12 injections just had one at my 1 month post op. My blood work from the post op was fine. I really hope I can get back into the swing of thing soon. Today I really pushed the protein and felt a little more normal. I mean it is 10:05 pm and I am actually still awake. I don't post a lot but I do read post every day. So Thank Again.
Its going to take awhile before you are able to get in all of your protein. Remember that your stomach can only take in so much. Just make sure that when you are back to eating normal foods always choose things that are high in protein. Keep a protein diary and then in the evening for your last snack in the evening count your protein and then get your supplement in. It works for me. I am 6 weeks out and I am down 50 lbs already. I wish you much luck and let me know if I can be more help to you.
