uneventful stay but when I got hom I PBed my meds after I crushed them. It was awful Anyway, I'm going to get popsicle then go hit the recliner. It will get better I know but I feel tired and sore.

My post op will be the same and the one above me mentioned. Except my surgeon doesn't let us have jello. I will be on Prevacid everyday. They will write down your diet and medications for you before you leave the hospitals. All hospitals are required to do that. I'm having surgery on the 21st also. Keep posting here. We can be partners in losing!

I'm also on the 13th...I have to call for the time on Monday. In all honesty, I'm not anxious or nervous...just ready to get it done!

thanks Honey, how r u doing? Yes the gas was worse than anything. Oh I am so glad so much of it's gone, walking is the answer. I counted my burps since surgery , I am now up to 94. LOL

Hi Kathy..Day by day I feel a little better. Just know that I was a nervous wreck, had bad nightmares, and stuff, and I finally calmed down. But right up to going into surgery I prayed, and God got me thru....I had His peace. Thank you for writing and I pray all goes well with you, I'm sure it will.

Hi Francesca, I am on my post op diet today and tomorrow for a Monday surgery. I am to only have liquids, water, can be with crystal lite, diet jello, diet popcylces, broth and protein shakes. Pretty blah, but it hasn't been too bad. The surgery nurse told me to take my nexium and toprol for blood pressure only Monday morning. Good luck

i'm right behind you guys mine is tuesday the 13th, my surgeons only do them on tuesdays have to be there at 6 and surgery is at 8 good luck to both of you guys and will keep you in my prayers
