Congrats! I am home also. I don't have staples and I got my jp drain out before being discharged. My doc cut the stich and had me to walk. She allowed gravity to do it's thing. The drain just came out on it's own. It wasn't very painful that way. Glad we're on the losing side. What types of things are you eating?

Topic: I'm off to the Hospital!
My surgery is today and it's 0'dark:30. I think I'm all packed and ready to go. Just killing a few minutes before I have to leave, trying to keep myself occupied. I can't believe how quickly the last few weeks/months have flown by. I'm sure they will continue to go fast and before I know it, it will be summer and I'll be slimmer and healthier.

1. My surgery date is 2.27
2. i'm 24 and living alone other than my dog and he'll be well taken care of by family
3. i will drink protien drinks for the first 6 weeks i'm trying lots of different brands to find what taste best i was on optifast a year ago and thought the stuff was gross i would really love any suggestions on what taste best if someone knows
4. i'm not using eighter of those forms of protien but i did buy some of those protein pops and they aren't bad
5. i don't have a recliner but my mom is renting a hospital bed for me until i can come home and sleep in my own bed
