Yes....I am petrified as well...not sleeping, nightmares, etc. My surgery is Wed, 2-28-07 as well! I did visit my PCP on Friday and she made me feel better...she told me that I was going to feel so much better, have more energy, and get off medications! Just think though....in a week, we will both be home and hopefully already skinnier and healthier! Keep in touch!

That's a darned good thing!!!!! If you were this close to such a life changing moment and you weren't scared.....THEN something would be wrong with you!! I was sick scared for a week before my surgery. Thank goodness my surgeon put me on liquids for that week, otherwise I wouldn't have been keeping real food down! My God I was scared ****less!!! Then....."Danny, wake up, buddy. You did great!" Hang in there, Angela and everybody else! You're gonna do great!

congrats on your weight loss i had my surgery 1/22/07 not that far away from onther nother ......the pain your feeling its gas. i know i had it up in in my chest and left side it will go away .try to move around as much as you can it helps with the gas ... i got home on the 1/25/07 and all i did its move and walk did some shoping at5 walmart and i felt better wen i walked ...i hope its all well with you !!! Yup, I'm scared as well. I'm actually thinking about backing out, even after the three-four years of work I've put in while trying to get this surgery. I'm petrified. I pray for you that everything goes ok. Last time, I was about ten minutes away from going under the knife and the anesthesiologist asked "have you had a cold?" I said "yup, I let Dr. Harrington's office know on Wednesday and on Friday as well." He said, "have you coughed up anything green looking?" I said "Yup, just yesterday I coughed up a nice lump of some nasty looking stuff." He scooted back in his chair and said, "uh, oh, Dr. Harrington isn't going to like this, you can develop pneumonia while under anesthesia and having a cold." So, here I am almost a full month later and I am scheduled for Monday. I'm scared, oh yeah, I'm scared. See, I'm taking these delays as signs from God saying that I shouldn't get my surgery. But who knows, maybe Dr. Harrington wasn't feeling up to snuff that day or something.
