Shelly, Sorry I can't tell you why. I just wanted to tell you that you are not alone. My surgery was Feb. 5th and I stay nauseaed. But I think mine does have some to do with a BM. I've only went once since the surgery and I had to be addmitted to the hospital for that. I do know by reading the boards that nausea is a big part of this surgery. The doctor told me it could last for up to 6 months. Yeah I know it wasn't something I wanted to hear either. Anyway just wanted to say I hope you get to feeling better. I pray to God everyday to feel normal again. Charlotte

Hey Donna - I am coming down with a cold as well Can you believe it? Our surgeries are on the same day and this is what I have feared. Actually, this is the only thing that I feared! I do not have any symptoms other than my nose feeling like it is loaded (I know - TMI) and my throat feeling scratchy. I hope that is as far as it goes. I will take some airborne, drink lots of fluids and get rest. I hope to nip it in the bud, but the weather is so crazy here. Good luck and God speed. Talk to you soon. V

Finally after a 3 month diet and getting all my information to my insurance company I'm approved!!!. My surgery is scheduled for 2/28. I'm excited and scared...:angst

I got a letter from my insurance today stating the have approved me for Lap RNY! I'm so happy. Hopefully I will get a date soon. Congrats to everyone who have gotten dates here on the boards.

Hi Joann, there is a lapband forum where everyone would be happy to answer any questions you might have. We have a great group of people on there that really care about each other and are so supportive. You will learn alot just by reading the boards if your not a big poster.
