Wow.....my surgery was on the 12th as well and you are far beyond me. I think I really overdid myself yesterday being out for so long, shopping, driving forever, etc.. I do still have pain, no where what I had before but i feel it constantly, especially when I stand or sit, or try to get in bed. Congratulations to you on recovering so quickly, and 20 lbs is just AMAZING. Be proud, its a tough road, and the victories are just beginning!

hello. My surgery date was 02/13/07. I was excited, nervous, scared all combined. You know you've done all the research, and finally the day is almost here. Good luck. My husband was worried too, but he was a rock, he stayed with me the whole 3 days I was in the hospital. I guess my advice is to get out of bed and start moving asap after your surgery, that's the quickest way to start feeling better, and the know that every day gets better.

I am in sooo much pain right now. My dr prescribed hydrocodone an it is all gone now. Is the extreme pain normal? It hurts to breathe!

Same goes to you too! You lucky, I wish mines was liproscopically but its not, its going to be an open procedure which really sucks, I just got the time I needed to be there today. My surgery is at 9:50 am but they want me there at 7:50 am. But good luck to you and girl, We will be alright (easier sad than done, lol) Hope to hear from you later after the surgery.

I'm sorry you all have to experience the same thing but I am glad you know what I am talking about. Sometimes I can walk fine without a twinge but if I happen to turn a certain way or sometimes get up too fast then I'm walking around like a humped over lady!!! I guess in the end it will all be worth it Kinda like having a baby....you forget about the pain soon after.
