Congrats Sandi..It looks like we'll both be having surgery on the same day!!!! Although I'm having the Lap R-n-Y. Isn't it such a relief to finally have a date?!?!

I am 11 days out and at 9 days all diabetes pills and insulins GONE! In fact ..from 15 medicines I am only on synthroid, singular and prevacid! I feel good and am so happy to be on the losers side. Most of all I am happy to not need shots anymore!

sandi congratulations on your surgery date! Mine is the 19th for lap band too! Good luck, only a week away!

Charlotte, I'm so glad to hear that you're home now! It was great to meet you, and it was nice to stop by your room and complain together . I have my "bible" here, so if you have any questions that come up, don't hesitate to call me or email me. I've been having a hard time sticking to just liquids. Even my 1 year old's food looks good! Sad, I know. My mom is flying down tonight to stay with me for the week, so it will be nice to have the help with the kids. Although, I don't really feel like I need all that much help anymore. I've been running around the house all day cleaning like crazy. I don't want my mom to show up and "white glove" the place. Anyhow, I'm so happy that you're home and your kids have their mom back! I know my kids missed me like crazy, and they were only without me for a little less than 3 days. You're still in my prayers, Rae

I see there's alot of us having surgery on mon. Amazingly enough Im calm just doing alot of things around the house to keep me busy. I'll be home by tues but you'd think by all the stuff that im doing that I'd be gone for a week hehe. good luck tomorrow and I'll see you soon on the losers bench.
