wooHOO! Congratulations! I have my surgery on 2/28/2012. Our new lives start so soon! I'm thinking about the fact I have no "skinny" clothes. I don't keep clothes that don't fit me. So I don't have a closet of size 14s (actually, I haven't been in a 14 since 1980! LOL!). 
All I need is a good fitting pair of jeans. So when I drop sizes, I'll buy a new pair of jeans every new size! I'm an eBay seller (& buyer, of course), so I'll probably buy them there.
I've always ADORED fashion but I've always been heavy (since I was 6). So now I get to actually wear pretty clothes! I also need to take a tailoring course so I can make some of my own clothes.
Anyway, CONGRATULATIONS!

Hi Jennifer! ooo that caffiene withdrawal... that's a bish. I stopped drinking coffee in May 2009 (I absolutely LOVE coffee [black]!) because I was having trouble sleeping. So the only caffiene I get is from diet soda, which I pretty much only drink at restaurants (but I go out to eat often). I can knock back 10 glasses of soda at a restaurant (wow! I can't believe I typed that). 
So sorry you're having trouble.
My surgery date is 2/28/2012. I cannot WAIT! I go to see my surgeon tomorrow. I don't know if he's going to put me on a no-carb diet or not. I have been eating like every meal is my last meal for about 2 weeks!

7:30 am and I am hungry! Even worse I woke up with terrible dry mouth. I have a headache and can't take anything. Listen to me complain and I havmt been cut open yet.

So we will share our anniversary together, laughing every four years...... I can hardly wait. Let me know how it goes for you. I have pre op stuff this wedneday, for the liquid fast before surgery. Doctor said will need 4 hours at office with all the stuff, nut, exercis, person and him. then following wednesday have more blood work pre op stuff then the surgery..............

Congratulations !!! I just had to post because I too am having VSG surgery on Feb 29th!!!! So excited to finally have a date and even more excited knowing that I will have a leap year anniversary date!!! Anyways keep me posted on ur WLS and ur progress!!
