Nine days till WLS, tonsil infection coming on

My surgery date is March 25th. I feel a bad itch in my throat and my tonsils are swollen. I also have a sinus infection but I usually have a sinus infection. My doctor knows I have crummy sinuses. But the tonsil infection will affect the throat tube and might cancel my surgery!!! I see my primary care doc on Monday to get on antibiotics. Other than that, any advice???? At this point I will take any suggestions I can get!!!
