RNY March 6!!

My surgery is scheduled for March 6! I'm so friggen excited! My nerves have started a bit, but I expected worse. I'm more excited. I start my pre-op liquid diet Feb 13, first day of Lent. I see the irony.

The pre-op diet is what worries me the most. But this time starting a diet, I know its gonna end up working since I'm ending up with the surgery so I know there will be weight loss in the end and not just a few pounds!

I feel like I'm having a baby or something! I'm trying to take care of things and "nest" before. It keeps me occupied. Just wanted to say Good luck and best wished to all.

Congrats on your date. I am having RNY on March 5th. I start my pre-op diet Feb 20th yay goodluck to all of us March dates! I have also been spending time getting things in order as far as samples, stuff i will need for hospital, etc.

Congrats on the date! I too am on the 6th and am getting more excited by the day. My pre-op liquid diet starts the 24th and right now it doesn't worry me.

I thought everything was done but it seems I was just getting started, still have pre-op labs, anesthesia appt., and pre-op H&P. It's all so exciting.

CONGRATS! I am March 1st. Just found out today. I have been cutting down on carbs, but I go to the pre-op nutrition class next Thursday. No one has said anything about all liquids yet. But I have a delicious protein powder I will start using for two meals a day til I hear something else.
