I am in shock!!

I can not believe that I am really going to have this surgery. After a year of waiting, being turned down by insurance twice and the ups and downs, it is going to happen. I am just waiting for someone to pinch me and wake me up from this dream . I felt like calling my docs office today and saying "are you sure they approved me to have surgery? ". I am chewing my nails off because I am so nervous. Not because of the surgery, but because I am scared it will be taken from me. I guess I dont want to get my hopes up again and then be let down. But it is real! OMG I'm APPROVED!!!!!!!

I know, the day Kim called me from Dr Bauman's office & told me I was approved--I squealed right in her ear & then started crying. I thought it would be more of a fight with BCBS than it was. Congratualtions--I know you are till walking with your head in the clouds.

Susan, I have walked in your shoes. It me a year almost to the date to be approved. I was turned down twice from my insurance company, but finally approved. I had my surgery 05/06/04 and I am already down 19 lbs. I am doing really good. The liquid date is the pitts.... Congrats on your surgery. I'll be praying for you and your family. God is Good!!!

Isn't it great Susan? I remember feeling the same way when I finally got approved. I waited and fought for 8 months. Then I finally had the approval and I was in shock. You've got it girlfriend and it is going to happen! Aren't they great words to hear "approved"! Best of everything to you.
