Phsyc. exam

Hello, I am going to my phsyc exam on monday can anyone tell me why this will take 2 hours. Thanks

Mine took about 1 1/2 hours for the first day & then about 1 1/2 on the second day. The first day I talked with the psych Dr & then had to answer question on the computer. On my return trip, I just saw his assistant & answered more questions on the computer. The question are part of a standard profile assesment to see if you are competent enough to withstand all the lifestyle changes that accompany this surgery.

All I can tell you is, treat this like an interview with the insurance company. Sincerely, Bobbie Tate

Hi Darlene! Yup, the first day I had to answer a lot of written questions, that took about 2hrs. The second time, I met My Dr., and we hit it off, so we talked about a good 2 2/1 hours. I had a really good time. Have fun. God bless, Katy.

wow reading the post.... my psych eval was only 20 minutes if that. Now it has me wandering if I passed. I went Thur. I don't know if I could have made it for 2 hours. Well she didn't seem to want me to come back...so I will take that as a positive. I didn't have to take a written test or a part 2. She only asked me about my history and family support and how I plan on dealing with WLS for the rest of my life. My answer to her was I either have to deal with being overweight and unable to move or being a LOSER and the regimne of that. I want to be a loser and I can better deal with all that I have to do with that. Wishing you lots of luck.
