Phsyc. exam
Mine took about 1 1/2 hours for the first day & then about 1 1/2 on the second day. The first day I talked with the psych Dr & then had to answer question on the computer. On my return trip, I just saw his assistant & answered more questions on the computer. The question are part of a standard profile assesment to see if you are competent enough to withstand all the lifestyle changes that accompany this surgery.

wow reading the post.... my psych eval was only 20 minutes if that. Now it has me wandering if I passed. I went Thur. I don't know if I could have made it for 2 hours. Well she didn't seem to want me to come back...so I will take that as a positive. I didn't have to take a written test or a part 2. She only asked me about my history and family support and how I plan on dealing with WLS for the rest of my life. My answer to her was I either have to deal with being overweight and unable to move or being a LOSER and the regimne of that. I want to be a loser and I can better deal with all that I have to do with that.
Wishing you lots of luck.
