Crushed Meds

I think every doctor is different but I will not be allowed to take solid pills until 6 weeks post op. I am still pre-op, but I got my pill crusher the other night. I only have birth control pills but the surgeon told us to contact the prescribing doctor to find out if any of our current medication might not be able to be taken crushed. They said some types of medications are time released and if you take them crushed you will get all of the medication at once instead of a bit at a time. Best of luck to you
