Hello All!!!! Is anyone else now having trouble taking their prescribed Meds? I am taking Diovan HCT and every time I take it, I have burping, the "foamies", stommach pain and then I throw up and can not keep anything down (not even liquids) for a couple of hours. I do not want to be noncompliant with my blood pressure medication, but it seems like so much DRAMA when I do. What do you all suggust? Tracey

I suggest calling your doctor and seeing if there is another BP med you can take. I haven't had any problems taking Lisinopril, but I don't know if that has to do with the medicine or something else. You don't want to be throwing up, because I imagine you're not getting much benefit from the medicine- it doesn't sound like much of it is getting inside you. Maybe your PCP can consult with your WLS surgeon. Surely he or she can suggest a substitute? Marcia

Can the pill be cut? If you are not sure contact your pharmacy. But you should let your DR. know what is going on. Maybe the pill is too big, you are having some adverse reaction, or your body is just rejecting it. Either way you should let them know and maybe they can change something.
