Calling all girls! Need advice on "my girls"
Ok, I know its still early to be thinking about plastic surgery. However, I will be graduating college in May and my husband has promised me a trip to Cabo! I'm really excited, but cannot bear the thought of looking for a bathing suit! I mean, I'm ok with my legs and butt. Tummy still pooches, but I can live with that.... but my boobs...OMG They are sooooo droopy and flat now! I wish I could just get a bicycle pump and just plug it into my chest...(ouch). Anyway, I am about 20 lbs to goal and weight loss has slowed down to only a few pounds here and there. do you all think it is to early to think about getting a lift? I want to do it early so that i will be healed in time for cabo next year. But I also don't want to screw up the WLS process either. ARGGGG.
Throw some advice my way ladies!

I have been thinking about it also.
I have just noticed in the past month that my boobs have deflated and all thats left is hanging skin that I have to shove into my bra because there is nothing there.
I am looking at a boob job and tummy tuck after my 1 year anniversary. That is my husbands present to me for losing all the weight.

Cabo - how fun!!
Have you talked to your surgeon? Mine won't even let me think about plastics until I've reached goal and kept it off for at least a year - so we're talking at the very least 2 years out from surgery, but he's pretty conservative.
I am definitely having a tummy tuck and a neck lift! Boobs are saggy but they have been since high school (I think by DD's were perky for about 10 minutes), and I would never do my arms (too mu*****) and the jury is still out on my thighs.
Inky
I'm getting them ASAP, but I've heard that it is 6 weeks of HELL post-op. I heard it goes from unbearable pain for two solid weeks, and then just upgrades to horrible pain for the next 3-4 weeks. Not looking forward to that, but definitely looking forward to perky!
I would like to do it at exactly 13 months, but since I am losing so slowly, I don't know if I'll be at goal by then. Plus, I think a couple of the docs in town want you to be at a certain weight for a period of time before doing post-wls plastics, so I might have to wait until the 18-month mark too. Grrr.
Whoever goes first has to give the rest of us a play-by-play of the process.

I dont think that it is to early to be thinking about plastics. I'm getting a Anchor TT and BA on Dec 17th by Dr. Hurwitz in pittsburgh. I saw him last month for my first appointment. He said it is a little early but since I Lost so much so quick and I'm close to goal that he would do it over my Christmas break from school. I'm so excited. I have a couple of more pounds to loose until then but I know I'll be able to do it. My boobs have definetly deflated since surgery. My husband and I call them pancake boobs. I cant do anything to change them till Dec so why not make fun of them till then. If you have any questions email me.

What is an Anchor TT and BA? I haven't made an appoitment with anyone in particular yet. I wanted to get everyone's advice first. I know that insurance will cover some reconstruct surgury, but I don't think boobs are part of that. I was thinking about just getting the boobs done, and after I;ve maintained for awhile, check into a tummy tuck. Who knows, maybe if I start my situps now, I can bang out a pound or two! What about skin firming cream or celulite cream, anyone use it?
