Calling all girls! Need advice on "my girls"
I would wait till at least 18 months to give your body time to heal and "catch up" with all the weight loss, unless you have been at goal for at least 6 to 12 months . But, the plastic srg will give you the best advice depending on your situation and body.
I am also dealing some extra skin that sags on my butt, thighs, arms and chest but want to see what I can do with more weight loss and some weight training...although my girls were never perky and will not change with any amount of exercise I do...they will definately need some work...one day. I hope the rest of me catches up and doesn't need any help...
Hey, I disagree that 60 years old is too old to be worried about the girls. I'm 57, and mine look like they've nursed every baby in the Jackson metropolitan area. I definitely plan to get them perked up. I'm also going to look into the legs and arms, but I'm waiting until next year - or until my weight stabilizes, whenever that winds up happening.
I do plan to find a plastic surgeon who has experience with bariatric patients - our Bariatric Center is working on developing a relationship with some plastic surgeons, so I'll probably use one of them. It won't hurt to make a consultation appointment, even if you don't immediately schedule the surgery.
Good luck.
