Holding steady at 135 here.
Still dealing with the pancreatitis. I saw a GI specialist last week and he thinks I either have a blocked pancreatic duct or an auto immune disorder attacking my pancreas.
I had blood work draw and they are doing an MRCP on wednesday, so I should know more at the end of the week.
My goal is to get healthy again so I can start living. It feels like the pancreatitis has taken over my life :(
Good luck with your surgeries this week girls! Cant wait to see the end results.

Topic: Brandon and Katies run for reason was a amazing sucess
As many of you know  that My grand daughter Katie was 12 mos 20 days when her death was ruled she died  of SUDC. Katie was living with us at the time she died while being in daycare.
Yesterday we had our first annual Brandon and Katies run for reason

Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC)

SUDC is the sudden and unexpected death of a child over the age of twelve months, which remains unexplained after a thorough case investigation is conducted. This must include: examination of the death scene, performance of a complete autopsy, and a review of the child and family’s medical history. SUDC is a diagnosis of exclusion - given when all known and possible causes of death have been ruled out.

The SUDC Program was created in September 2001 as part of the CJ Foundation for SIDS. It has been developed to provide a centralized resource for information, support and advocacy. It serves families and professionals affected by the tragedy of SUDC, and promotes awareness of SUDC in communities.

We were so over come with the community for their  love and support they showed for our families.
We have a rough total and we were able to raise almost 20k for research for a cause of SUDC

Sids is known but so little is known about SUDC. Our hope and dreams would bring awarness to communties and yesterday we achieved that goal.

Ty everyone from Oh for your love and support

Thank you I really needed your words of incouragement. I have gained back 35 lbs since Jan. But I will not let it get me down I have rather used it to encourage me. Look at my before and after pics the after pics is from a year ago I am even smaller now then I was then I just have not taken a recent photo of myself. I am still having troubles with self asteam and need to work on it. It is hard to see myself as not being so hudge.

U have really done a  great job to lose almost 300 lbs, I am sorry u had to do a reversal and now fighting to not regain the weight u loss, I know it maybe a set back but u r thinking positive and doing awesome things that u were not doing when u  first had the surgery. I  think exercise is a key to permimate weight loss and good health, I know some days like ALL of  had  u want to give up when u hit a rough patch, I had gotton off track and I realized I was not comming to Oh as much for  for support I was letting this slip away, Well I gained 2 lbs and then I woke up after 3 lbs gained and said back to gym back to posting and just comming here inspires me and keeps me going. I am accountiable to each and everyone of you. I know I will battle weight gaining the rest of my life,
I am so happy u are writing us as u r inspiring us and keeping us going and motivating us, We all need each other,Congradultions for almost losing 300 lbs  that  just blows my mind somone can lose that much weight in 2 years, I had a hard time losing over 135 lbs in 2 years.

It was 2 years ago today April 23 that I was wheeled into surgery at Miami Valley Hopsital in Dayton Ohio I rember crying before I went in it was 9:30 am and I keep saying is the right thing what if I do not come out and then who will my kids have? I had a great nurse she had had the BPD done a few years before and she looked at me and said honey you are over 500lbs who will your kids have if you do not go in. 6 hours later and a long stay in the PAC unit I went over to the old floor. I have lost almost 300lbs in the last 2 years I never thought I would be this small again. True I have had a very rough time of it and did have to be reversed due to complications and have gained a few pounds back but I have a real life now. What did I do to celibrate myself I went and sat and had a pedicure done I could fit in the seat lift my legs up and feel comfortable doing so. I still have some more weight to loose but that nurse was right who would have been there for my kids had I not went in. Good luck to all upcoming surgeries and new surgries it will be the best thing you can ever do.
