I have gotten all my paperwork in as of yesterday, and am hoping for a quick insurance approval and surgery scheduling. Ideally, I'd like to schedule mine (sleeve) in early/mid-April. No idea if this will work out, but if it doesn't, I think I'll need to wait until mid June due to travel scheduling.
Sure have a lot of feelings roiling around about this, as I'm sure you have.
Hi! Im actually scheduled to have the Duodenal Switch on April 30th. Dr wanted to do early April but my kids birthdays are the 8th and 16th so I didnt want to be down on their days. Im super excited though...

I thought that I had replied to this post already, but I guess not. I am having a gastric sleeve on April 4th!! It's unreal that the date is actually almost here! I have my last preop appt with my surgeon next week. When is yours, Gillian?

I was just approved by my insurance today. I should get my official surgery date tomorrow. I'm planning on the first week of April...either the 1st or the 3rd. I'll know more tomorrow, but it's coming up very soon!! Best of luck to you!!
Congrats on the hospital testing! Let us know when you are scheduled. I'd love to have people to keep in touch with on this journey!

I have my hospital testing tomorrow and that is the last thing i have to do before i get my surgery date...which they SAY will be sometime in April 
SO YAY!!! FINALLY! I am having the gastric sleeve done though.
