My daily diet has been:  4 bagels   = 40 gr Protein      960 cal.
Laughing Cow low calorie wedge  = 10 gr  Protein      140 cal
Designer  whey protein shakes    = 54 gr Protein      300 cal
Fruit usually strawberries         =  2   gr Protein         91 cal

                                                    106 gr Protein        1491 cal.
I have been doing this for a month.

Sounds like you're eating way too much protein. According to the Cleveland Clinic:

"As a starting point, the most common recommendation is to eat between 0.8 and 1 gram of protein for each kilogram of body weight each day.

Let's break down the math:

  • If you know your weight in pounds, divide that by 2.205 to get your weight in kilograms.
  • Multiply that number by 0.8.
  • That's how many grams of protein is recommended.

For example, if you weigh 170 pounds, that's about 77 kilograms. Multiplied by 0.8 is 61.6. In theory, then, a 170-pound person should eat 61.6 grams of protein a day at minimum."

I had gastric bypass 21 years ago and just the 64g of protein they have me drink after surgery for a few weeks caused me to develop a kidney stones, so I can only imagine the risk you're running by consuming over 100g per day. As painful as that stone was, I'd definitely recommend reassessing what you truly need.

At this stage post-surgery, I still follow the core rules - sugar is the devil, avoid carbonated sodas/drinks/caffeine and stay somewhat active. Other than that, I pretty much eat what I want other than the above; and, while I don't have an exercise routine, I try to do something active everyday - mainly yard work, home maintenance projects, indoor cleaning/chores, etc. It helps to do those activities the proper way without shortcuts to maximize your caloric output while not getting bored or feeling obligated too.

My first thought is why are you eating 4 bagels a day?
How often are you eating?
If this is all you eat, your body may very well just be stuck in a rut.
You may not be eating enough for your body weight, either.
I still eat 3 meals a day and snacks too.
How much are you eating at one sitting?
