I need your Prayers, Please

Hi Everyone, I've been on ALL Liquids since April 28th. Got a sinus/head cold on April 30th. I was way better for my Endoscopy on Friday, May 7th. Surgeon took biopsy's of 2 polyps from Stomach and the nurse tells me that my Oxygen levels were a little low and my lungs sounded to her to rattle a little. That I should get it checked out before my Surgery on Wed. May 12th. Woke up Sat. May 8th. coughing my head off and chest hurting. Called the Clinic and they said to come in right away. Bronchitis Gave me antibiotics and said to go to bed. That with a lot of prayers they may not cancel my WLS on Wed. May 12th. That I have to come back on Tues. and they will see then. So Please send some of your prayers my way Thanks, Jean

Jean you are surely in my prayers. By the grace of God everything will be alright. Just remember everything happens in God's time not ours. My surgery is also Wed. ( we are WLS twins ). Jean, You are in my prayers. You know what you are going through now has been my fear since last week. And you wouldn't believe my husband came home early from work yesterday, sick with a bad cough and head cold. I almost went hysterical. I made him stay in another part of the house and after he went to bed I went and put on a face mask Part of the night I layed on the sofa so as not to get too close to him. All day today I stayed in the opposite part of the house. But honestly I am so sorry you are not feeling well. I pray all goes well but If God has a plan we cannot change it. GET WELL SOON. Aww, Jean! I had actually thought about you today, since we're having surgery on the same date. I will pray AND keep my fingers crossed for you. I have a feeling it will all work out!

After all this time....I hope you get better quickly...I am May 12th also, and I am definately thinking of you. I will say a good prayer for you tonight! Get Well....drink lots of homemade chicken soup. Tricia

Jean, I know these are probably some of my worst fears. I have been taking antibiotics myself, just trying to ward off my usual sinus infections. I will keep you in my prayers all this week in hopes that your bronchitis will clear us and you will be able to have a successful surgery on Wednesday. I get to take some of the children from my school in a limo that day as a reward. I'll make sure we have a special moment of silence and hopefully we'll both be celebrating that day. Christie

Dear Jean, I am sending loads of healing thoughts and prayers your way. The other posts to you are quite right Timing is everything to your well being. Have faith and trust in your higher power and stay as positive as possible. I just got out of the hospital today. My surgery was 5/5/04 and I am already very happy I had the surgery, (even though the sounds from my stomach make me sound like a boat on a whale watching sail,LOL). I pulled through with the comforting thoughts and prayers of people from all over. I will channel their efforts as well as mine in your direction.

Hi Everyone, Your Prayers are working. Went and seen my PCP and he said the Meds. are clearing up my lungs. If I'm better tomorrow then he will give the OK for the Surgery . I had Happy Tears right then and there . And again when I just read all the "Well Wishes" from all of you. You Guys are truly wonderful friends. Your Prayers sure helped me to heal fast so I can have my Surgery. Please keep them coming, I have 2 more days. Jean

Hi Jean, I just read you latest posting and am so glad to read you are feeling better and things are looking positive for your surgery to go as scheduled. I will keep you in my prayers that you will continue to get better and be able to move forward with the surgery and that all will go well and as planned. My date is Friday the 14th and I am trying to stay clear of all coughs and runny noses myself. Take care and I can't wait to read more from you! Angie
