Happy New Year!! & Resolutions!!

I wanted to wish all my fellow Maysters a very Happy New Year!! Tomorrow I'll be taking my smushed car to get some estimates and other things, so I wanted to make sure I let everyone know I was thinking about them!!! Just think...No more New Years resolutions about losing weight that we won't keep! What are you all resolving this year? That sounds more like a GOAL than a resolution.

Well its a little of both, but I've been procrastinating on finishing it...I figured now is a good a time as any!

I just finished a pack of cigs I started (again) this summer after being an sporatic "party" smoker. I rationalized it as... I'm not eating, I'm not drinking, and I'm not gambling (semi-annual trips to Vegas shot down due to Saving college $$), so I needed a vice. Starting here, starting now, I'm back on the wagon. That's resolution #1. #2 is to hit that DAMN century mark. (which is very close...) 98lbs this morning. #3 is to buy a few outfits that fit. One of the girls in my office asked me if I was wearing my jeans "urban style" on purpose today. I'm sure I'll think of a few more next week... I always do... My resolutions: 1- get more protein each day 2- drink more water each day 3- exercise at least 5 times per week, even if it isn't a school day! ( I walk with a neighbor after our kids get on the school bus. If it's not a school day, I've been lazy!!! ) 4- be a better wife, mother & friend ~Wanda
