They say not to compare...but
I'm not sure how tall you are, but I sneaked a peak at your profile and based on your starting weight, and the fact that you're down 73 pounds, I think you're doing fantastic! Remember, the more you have to lose, the faster you'll typically lose it, it's all based on percentages.
I'm 5' 7" and started at 287 and I've lost 112 pounds. My goal is somewhat elusive, so I'll just say 150... Based on that, I've lost about 80% of my excess weight.
You started at 250, are at 187 and have a goal of 150, according to your profile. so you've lost 77% of your excess weight... That's 3/4 of the way there... Not too shabby for 7 and a half months, right?
Hi Victoria! I started at 340 (I'm 5'8") and I'm now at 225, which is 115 pounds. I want to get to around 175 - actually I don't have a specific # on the scale I want to get to, I just want to be able to wear a size 12 which is what I wore in my early high school years. Dunno if it will happen or not, but we shall see!! Things have definitely slowed down in the last 2 months or so.

I started at 323 (2 weeks before surgery) and I weighed in yesterday- 223.6. If you use my surgery day weight I started at 314. I'm 6'1, and would like to lose 30-40 more.
Everyone is differant- and there are so many factors involved, including how much you had to lose to start with, how tall you are, etc. You are a success! I think you are losing at a nice, safe and healthy pace. Congrats!

Hello. I had my surgery on May 4th, started out weighing 346 and I am 5'11''. I just hopped on my scale and I weighed 197. This morning I weighed 193.5, but you know you weigh less first thing in the morning. I have lost roughly 150 pounds, but I was very, very heavy to start with. I had alot more to lose than yourself.
Don't be so hard on yourself. I looked at your profile and you look GREAT! You are doing wonderful. Keep your chin up!
