Poll Revisited: Goal Weight & Eating Demons
Will reply to these... GREAT questions...
1. What is your goal weight and where are you at now?
150 and im currently 165
2. When did you set your goal weight? How long ago?
Set at onset of seeking surg
3. What made you pick that goal weight?
cause that is a reasonable healthy wt for me at my age
4. Have you revised your goal weight along with WLS journey?
nope
5. Have you ever weighed your goal weight? If so, when/at what age?
How many times in your life? Did you maintain that weight for a while/how long?
Yes reached it at 21 and actually went below for about 2 seconds
6. Looking at how far you've come already, do you think the goal weight that you set is truly attainable? Think long and hard on this one. Be sure to think about the fact that being obese for years can add weight to your skeletal structure - it needs to be heavier to support the overweight body. Also, be honest with yourself - most likely (with few exceptions) you are carrying extra weight due to excess skin. So, it is possible for us to go back to what we weighed when we were say in our 20s?
yes reasonable and attainable if I try really hard.... Im stuck right now cause of my reactions so need to buckle down
