Note to self... (includes a bit of a poll, of course)
YOU DON'T NEED SIZE 4X PANTYHOSE ANYMORE!!!
Let them go. Give them away. Buy new ones in your own size.
This all being said as I am swimming in my pantyhose today. LOL! I swear I think I could pull them up to my chin if I wanted to.
I checked the L'eggs website. Based on weight, I should be in size Q but just not the 4X variety. I'm only 5 or so pounds from the next size down but when it comes to pantyhose... comfort is important.
Poll question: So, what you do have that you still wear that you need to let go of....
Are you swimmin' in your bras?
Are you wearing underwear so big that you could fit another person in there with you?
Are your pantyhose up to your neck?
Are your slips sliding down your hips?
Kathy
EXCELLENT, Lori!
I'm totally with you. I don't wear pantyhose often (cannot even tell you the last time... a year ago, maybe) so that is why it hasn't been thought of and replaced.
I recently threw my slips out. Need to get some new ones - short one and a longer one.
I love the fact that I can wear fairly fitted clothing and now I just hate when something hangs on me. Its a great feeling!
Looks like someone lost a couple more pounds there.
Congrats!
Kathy

Most of my wardrobe has been updated. I've boxed and given away huge quantities of clothing. My only hangon is..... pajamas...
I have lots of pretty silk & satin pj's. Butter soft and comfy 2x and 3x. My DH works 5 graveyard shifts a week... The two nights he is home I wear fitted nightgowns, but when I'm alone..... it's baggy central....
I was in the kitchen last week and inadvertently covered one of the dogs toys with my dragging pj leg. While he was searching for it, he tugged and ended up getting buried in a bolt of silk... I laughed my (exposed) a$$ off.
My biggest problem now is lack of clothing... I'm at that... "I need some, but don't want to buy more in this size mode..." I'm sure those of us with over 20 more to go are in the same boat.
Thanks Kathy for all you thought provoking polls.

Funny you should post this. I just recently chucked all my stockings/pantyhose. I put some that hadn't been opened in my charity pile. Because I work mostly from home I don't have opportunity to wear tights on a regular basis, but I need to buy at least one pair.
I've started using some self tanner on my legs. As someone who is normally very pale, I'm anxious to see how this goes. I do like to wear skirts in the warmer weather. I'm using Dove self tanner (can't recall what its name is) for fair skin. I started with it yesterday and so far I'm impressed. My legs look pretty reasonable -- at least I won't blind them at the gym -- and not blotchy or orange.
Oh, also, a small WOW moment. I was sitting drinking my tea at Starbucks this morning (I'm wearing a skirt, thinking that 55 degrees is a pretty darn warm day). I automatically reached down to cover the side of my knee that shows when sit down while wearing a skirt. I realized then, 'wow, my knees are actually SLENDER!' I'm actually happy with them.

Every few months, my trainer looks at my shorts/shirt and proclaims that I simply must retire them. I don't realize they are getting huge because I like to be comfortable in the gym. Now here's the admission part. I actually still wear my old bras to the gym to workout. I looked in the mirror the other day and realized that I would look much more attractive in my baggy shorts and shirt if I would just wear a decent bra! I have great VS bras for every day wear, but I definitely need to buy some workout bras.
