Good FitDay feature

I've been using the PC version of FitDay for almost a year now. I have just recently discovered that you can add 'Reason' to the Food Log screen (select View, and then 'Choose Food Log Columns'). It then shows a column with pull-down choices for things like hungry, bored, reward, celebration, etc. It even allows customizing these choices. This is a pretty cool feature. Of course, no one here eats for reasons other than hunger ... but I certainly do, it's nice to be able to track that easily. Eileen

Eileen, I have PC software that works like Fitday. Been using it for probably 10 years off and on. It has room for food, recipes, weights, measurements, chemistry (labs), moods, etc. Very cool. It is called Lifeform. You can graph any value that is entered. I love visuals. Glad to hear you are using your software to the fullest! Kathy

Cool! 10 years. I'll have to look up Lifeform and see if they update their food databases. That's my 1 gripe with Fitday, they don't update that. Plus it has some pretty weird stuff in it (raccoon, swamp cabbage, boiled jellyfish). Eileen

No, they don't update their database. Wish they did. Kathy

Eileen, How cool! I was just going to ask you if you wanted to go out for some boiled jellyfish and swamp cabbage! Lori

Eileen, I'm so glad you brought this to my attention! I really wanted fitday to show my fiber intake! Now I know I can change my columns...duh! Thanks, Lori P.S. Since I only eat just out of actual bodily hunger, the reason code is not needed (I wish!)
