Happy Saturday, Maysters, Today. The scale said 151. That's 200 pounds gone. I've tried to imagine strapping on 200 pounds of weight around me and walking up the stairs. How did I do that? How did I ever get that big? How did I stay that big for 15 years or more? How in the world did I ever lose it? I can't even begin to wrap my mind around the idea of it all. One more pound to a "normal" BMI for me, and my personal goal. I realize that some of the weight might come back after I fully recover from this TT, but for today, I celebrate. Thanks for all your sharing, Debra M.

Topic: RE: Help, I'm Drying Out!
The same thing happens to me. I use to use the in showe body lotion but it became too expensive. Now I use the lavender baby oil. When Im finished showering I just slather myself in it before getting out of the shower then dry off as usual. Just dont use too much, a little goes a long way. I do feel a little greasy to begin with but afterwards its amazingly soft. Even my hubby has complimented me on being super soft lately. I still use regular lotion on my hands during the day though. Hope this helps, Candy

That stinks!! At least it seems like it's something he can fix and he has high hopes for the surgery, that it will fix the problem. I hope your recovery time isn't as long as he's projecting and that all goes well!! Lisa

Topic: RE: Who has More than 20 lbs to Personal Goal
My weight loss was hampered with my pregnancy, but I don't regret my son at all! I did, however, stop losing 50 lbs short of my and my surgeon's "goal weight". I was 345 at the start and hover at 200 lbs now. I dropped 30 lbs right after I had Jesse 6 months ago and have stopped. I have to have two hernias repaired, AGAIN, which has hampered any exercise I might want to do. I have the treatmill and so on, just can't use them as my hernias really limit my movement. I'm working on getting into plastic surgery now, hoping they'll remove the 150 lbs worth of loose skin for the weight that I have lost. I know that would help a lot, as most of it is in my belly. I am still wearing a size 20 jean at 200 lbs, even though before I had kids I was at 230 lbs wearing a 16/18 jean, depending on the brand. It's frustrating when the numbers stop dropping, especially when you fall short of your goal. I'd love to be 130 again, like I was when I was 18, but now, at 34 and with two kids, I don't see it. I could live with 150, but I don't know how reachable that is, even. I think we all have our disappointments in some respects. Can't lose as much as we wanted, or some end up gaining some back. How I envy those who don't have to constanly keep track of what and how much they eat or keep an eye on that scale!! Lisa

Topic: RE: OT: Genetic Testing Results Are In
Thanks, Karen! The waiting wasn't too bad. Expected it to take a month and it took half that. Not too bad. I base my stress level on statistics when they are available... LOL. My sister only had an 8% chance of being positive according to the genetic counselor so that wasn't that high so it was easy to not expect this, ya know? Funny, as in ironic funny not haha funny... when my sister went for her biopsy, I just knew it was cancer. But with this, I just knew this was going to be negative. Wish I could translate this intuition or feeling...into say some lotto numbers or something truly useful. ROFL. Take care, K
