Topic: Totally FREAKING Excited!
I forgot to tell you guys... Monday, I get to take one of these bad boys home for the night:

I work for International and they let employees take them sometimes for community events, etc. That's not even the biggest, there's one model bigger, called the CXT. It's like a Hummer on steroids. I'm using it for a photo illustration project I'm doing for class.

Just hung out today, doing the lazy-day thing. Walked around Target, goofed around at home. Just put Liv to bed and Aaron left for a night out with "da boys" so I'm home alone and LOVING IT!

My son is 11 going on 12 and BOOOOOOOYYYYY do I see the teenager in him these days... We had our first "knockdown dragout" a few weeks ago over homework. We both wound up sobbing on the couch... One door slamming incident in which I promptly promised him if it happened again I would happily REMOVE his door for 30 days. Hey, worked for me - cured me of that after a one month stint without any privacy when I was 13...

I'm bored!!! (can you believe I'm saying that with five wild kids in the house???) dh left for work this morning at 5am, now it's 6:30 pm and he's still NOT home!!!!! Good grief. I'm just sitting around waiting for him to come home. He should be home in the next half hour. I had some kids who needed some discipline today (geee imagine that) so they did some house cleaning and laundry for me. Other then patrolling the kids, I've pretty much done nothing today. Tomorrow I teach kids church with about 30 kids - so after I get home I'm sure I'll be taking a nap!!! Then it's getting the kids ready for school on Monday..... nothing exciting happening around here.

Yes, I love the fact that the kids hang out at your house. You must be really, really mean and hateful. LOL!
One thing my mother and father never had to worry about was me or my sister. Our house was the hang out. In the summer, we were in the garage - dad put a light and electricity out there. The place was cleaned and painted and we had a picnic table with bench in there. We had a small record player out there and radio. If we weren't there it was the front stoop (brick stairs). If it was winter, we were in the front room of our house. We called it the porch but it was a sunroom type. We were always there and always safe. Nice kids.

It all sounds like fun. Wow. I'm envious.
Rich was trying to get Clapton tickets for this coming Tuesday but that didn't work out. Bummer.

Off topic for sure but I am venting not about food isssues but ... teenagers... omg.My 19 year old he is doing well maybe he's matured some.Boy my 13 yearold daughter moody isnt the word.My 17 year old he is in this stage where he thinks he's an adult and I have to remind him he's not.Thinks he knows all the answers and is getting a mouth on him.I am stepping up the discipline a notch and they dont like it.Its just as hard for me as it is for them but I gotta do it.Thank God I had them when I was young.I have been told if your kids say they hate you sometimes that I am doing a good job.I think I have been told I am mean several times also.I must be a super terriffic mom for sure.I am glad I take the door slamming and "I hate you" with a grain of salt.Boy they dont know how good they have it.I always say if am so mean why is it that all of your friends seem to hang at my house??? Now I know why some animals eat their young...because they have to.Have a good day from the meanest mom around

I'm a regular social butterfly these days, I guess!
October 27-28th I'm going to Lexington for the OH conference. I reserved a costume for the costume ball - a deep purple flapper dress with all the little fringies, a head band and a boa.
November 12 - Toby Keith concert in Fort Wayne - WOOHOO!!!!!
November 18 - BOB SEGER in Indy!!!! Double WOOHOO!!!!
The next weekend my favorite local band is back in town playing 2 nights in a row - gonna try to catch them. Not to mention Thanksgiving is somewhere in there and then December 12th is my surgery and then Christmas! Holy cow time is going to fly!
The Seger thing was sort of impulsive - Aaron didn't want to go see Toby Keith so I'm going with some girlfriends and he made a comment that I never wanted to go to any concerts with him. I dared him to name a single concert he ever wanted to go to that I wouldn't go to with him and he couldn't think of one... Then he said, "well, Seger's touring, would you go see him?" I was like "ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME????" I love Seger! So, next thing you know, we're going to Seger. YEEHAH!!!!

WOW 17 months... doesnt seem like that long....
No complication.... thank heavens...
stlil have 3-8 to surgeons goal of 160 and 13-18 to mine of 150. Ive been at this weight of anywhere from 163-168 since march... dont think im going down anymore... ahhhh well.. Im at my goal size of a 10 but an 8 sure would have been nice.
I have fat days and thin days... just started a new job and no one there knows Ive had surg.
Have some grazing days, some bad choics. overall pretty good...
biggest surprise... that those little bitty size 10's actually fit
biggest bad surprise.. that ive not hit my goal at almost 18 months out...

Hey there! I'm here!
17 months out and still holding (for the most part) steady around the 150s. I've been struggling with eating crap/more than I should for the past couple of weeks and pushed all the way up to 157 but I'm back down to 154 now and continuing to work on it. Would still love to see 149 someday...
I have PS scheduled in December - a little over 2 months away. Still got a lot of work (mentally, mostly) to do before then. Just keep plugging away.
Biggest good: I can't believe how YOUNG I feel.
Biggest bad: I can't believe how much the excess skin bugs me, truly bothers me... and it's not even as bad as some experience.
