Topic: I'm baaaaaaaaack!
Hi ya'll! Miss me? Well I missed you! Things are going pretty well here...just very busy. Hmm, let me fill you in: *Moved in June *One hour aerobics 5 times a week *House being built and hopefully ready in Dec...meanwhile my family of 4 is in a teeny sapartment...it was fun at first but now too small!!!! *School starts, woo hoo! *Second day of school...son is sick, the croup! *Second week of school...son sick again *Third week of school..son has pneumonia *My day goes like this - home at 5, cook dinner, gets in bath/bed, me BACK at wor****il 9 or 10...b/c I take my new job as a Kinder teacher in a new district very seriously and since we have no AIDES I do lots of work by myself!!!! Aaaaaaagh! (it's better now though)...now I only work late once but have to go 1/2 day on the weekend *Daughter is in tball...practice, games, etc. *So, I haven't exercised since oh, school started 6 weeks ago!!!! *Oh, daughter has odd growth under her chin for past 3 months and now she needs surgery to remove...when it rains, it pours right??? Whew, enough of that!!! I love my new city, love my new job but I need to fit in the exercise. When I was doing it over the summer I lost a few pounds and gained some incredible muscle...I was looking pretty darn good!!! I haven't lost the muscle but if I don't use it I know it will be gone soon. As far as eating, it's not too bad although I do love my cookies!!!!and chocolate!!! I don't overeat and get uncomfortable. I've taken some sips here and there with food but that's about it. I'm drinking one diet drink a day but my surgeon does not have a problem with that. I haven't gained any weight at all...holding steady in the low 130's. It's just so hard to sit here in front of the pc since school started. The two year old and 1st grader keep me on my toes! Hubby has been great...he cleans, helps tons with the kids, etc. I'll try to be better at posting and reading. I sure do miss all of you. Take care and God bless!!! -ana (oh, I did add two new pics to my profile)

Oh Kathy - this would be the day you post this!!!! I took the kids to the dentist today for cleanings. They SWEAR that I said I'd get them a snack on the way home. (I'm sure I didn't, why would i get them sugar RIGHT after a cleaning?) But it was five against one so when I got gas I bought them all a snack. I WAS going to get crackers & cheese, had it in my hand and then I spotted them....... COOKIES!!!!! Oh, I just had to pick up the package and learn that there was LESS fat, calories, and carbs in the cookies then in the crackers. So I gave up 3 grams of protein and bought the cookies instead!!! Now, they were within my sugar limit but I certainly didn't NEED them!!!! So on the 1/2 hour drive home I ate all the cookies and drank a 20 oz of water. They were soooooo good!!!! Laurie - who's now being good for the rest of the night and baking chicken for dinner

Hi Maysters.... Been on a business trip (10 long days) and came home at 2am Saturday Morning. Had a wedding 2 hours north on Saturday night. Wasn't looking forward to going (neighbor's kid), but we down loaded the directions, and off we went. Beautiful venue, wonderful DJ, yummy food. At dinner, the table of 8 boasted 4 guys and 4 gals... This is unusual in my experience with so many divorsees. The first course, lobster bisque came. I had a taste and passed it on to my husband to finish (he loves lobster bisque). The second course was ceasar salad. I had a few bites and again passed it off to my husband. Before the main course was served, a woman that I had said "Hi" to twice during the ****tail reception came running over, threw her arms around me and said "OH MY GOD!... I finally asked someone who you were and I can't believe how great you look"!!! She turned to this table of strangers and said (no lie)... She used to be HUGE!, now look at her!! When I finally sat down to eat the main course, the women at the table were all over me about my steps to success. Before I could open my mouth one of the husbands said.... "Haven't you been watching her?... Her husband should weigh 500 lbs".... We all started laughing... I do pass a lot of my meals over to my hubby...and the dog... I never really thought about it before.... I should watch that... The same scenario happened to me on the business trip to KC. I'd say hi to people, and they'd hi back, but then they'd say "Kate?" too weird... had a lot of laughs... Still trying to get out of 10's and into 8's... Got a doctor's appointment at the end of the month... Hope all is well in Maysterville. Kate Z
