Topic: RE: Feeling light headed
Light headed could be blood sugar or dehydration or if you get up fast from a sitting position (called orthostatic hypotension). Hard to say.
As for dry mouth, again, hard to say what the cause is. Just make sure to stay well hydrated all day long. Sip, sip, sip!

Topic: RE: B-12 shots?
If your levels are good, then you don't have necessarily have to take the shots. Mine is 1200 or so which is just above the top end of normal so I'm doing fine on the sublinguals. Some folks don't seem to absorb them as well so they switch to shots.
You want your B12 to be closer to the high end then the low end of normal. The US range of values is based on cardiac issues and not on neurological issues. Neurological issues can happen within the range of "normal" so it is best for it to be towards the top end of normal or even above normal..
Fatty acids? What levels aren't normal for you?

Topic: RE: OT- Update on My dad
Glad to hear that your father made it through surgery fine and that his liver is in good shape. Excellent.
My dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer a year ago and is just fine. He had a few months of taking oral hormones followed by the implantation of radiological seeds (once the prostate was small enough to do that). Now he just gets his PSA tested regularly - no other treatment.
Take care!

Topic: RE: B-12 shots?
I was taking sublingual liquid B12 and although my levels were "within range", they were on the low end and I started having symptoms of neuropathy so I switched to shots instead. I've been doing 1 shot a week for 4 weeks and then I switch to once per month. I can definately tell the differnce in how I feel and the neuropathy has gone away.
Topic: OT- Update on My dad
He came through his surgery fine. He has a 7cm incision on his belly and the doc was able to put his hand in there and feel his liver. I can't even imagine that. Anyway he did it with the scope too and it looked fine so no biopsy there. They took some lymph nodes and we will get the pathology report in about 3 days on those. They also will test his PSA again because when they tested it a few days ago it was elevated. Prostate Cancer runs in the family so that has me a bit worried. I was up to see him today and he looked good, his color was back and he was joking around. My mom was going to stay up there for a bit more tonight. She was up there all morning and then went back up later in the afternoon and was up there all night. She didn't spend the night but came home and then went back up this morning.
Thank you for all your prayers and good thoughts sent his way and our way.
