Topic: OT: I need your brains and creativity
wanna come up with a cool Halloween costume. We are trying to get folks at work to dress up and we'll do a chili and grilled cheese sandwich event. I'll make chili since I will eat that.
I think that Pam Porter had some cool ideas on her profile from past Halloweens. One was Audrey Hepburn Breakfast at Tiffanys and one was Tippi Hedren from The Birds. Those are cool ideas.
I really don't want a typical pirate wench, princess bride, batgirl type of thing. I want something clever. Something like a goth Breakfast at Tiffanys. Something fun.
Any suggestions... got 5 weeks to plan and create.
Thanks!
Kathy
Topic: RE: Friday: What are you eating??
B - oatmeal
S - hot chocolate w/ protein
S - SB diet breakfast bar
L - ??? I'm in the "I'm not hungry, and nothing sounds good stage" today
S - hot chocolate w/ protein
D - My daughter's birthday dinner is tonight. At first she picked spegehetti o's
but then she changed it to steak and potatoes and corn. And I bought her a birthday cake as I knew I wouldn't have time to bake one for her

Come on people, let's be accountable....
Here's the plan:
B - protein shake, small apple (a friend gave me a "Micellar Milk" protein shake to try. It's 11 ounces, 40 grams of protein, 2 grams of fat, 220 calories). I hope I like it.
L - cup of black bean soup, raw carrots, an apple
S - protein bar and either some raw carrots or a piece of fruit
D - My mother may be frying fish and if she is I just want you to know up front that I'm having some! Everyone needs a bit of fried fish in their life periodically.
S - 100 calorie pack popcorn
Meds and vits - done
liquids - 20 down, 80 to go
exercise - Gilad's fat burning cardio workout followed by "Buns of Steel" lower body toning

Just noticed this, Candy. We all have regrettable days, but you are right - just have to get up and start again. "Failure" is not falling, but rather failure is staying down after you fall. I know you will get back in the saddle, if you haven't done so already. We've all come way too far to become discouraged now.
I know exactly how you feel. I've had entire binge weekends and was 8 pounds heavier, bloated beyond belief, and extremly disgusted the following Monday. This happened a few weeks ago, in fact. You're not alone. We have ALL done it at some point. I'm not saying I won't do it again. Heck, I have midterms coming up in a few weeks and who knows, I just may eat my way through them. But I know if I do, I WILL get back on track and I know you will too. Hang in there, sister!
Hugs, Tracy
P.S. You'd better keep showing your face around here! Don't make me have to come out there and drag you back here!

Here's hoping your day was filled with warmth, well-wishes and delicious sugar-free cake!! Hugs, Tracy
Topic: RE: Thurs: What are you eating?
Wanted to update yesterday's food for the sake of accountability...
L - same but used reduced fat dressing rather than fat-free
D - same but skipped the s/f jello desert and opted for some melon instead
S#2 - add a 100 calorie pack popcorn.
vits - forgot the evening calcium
Exercise - I did Leslie Sansone's 1/2 mile "easy walk" with my mother to encourage her to get through it. She almost made it through the walk - not quite but almost. Maybe next time.

Howdy!
Today's been kind of a blur... let's see...
B - yogurt and kashi granola bar
MS - AchievOne, pb crackers
L - 2/3 of turkey and bacon on croissant, 1/2 cup cantaloupe
AS - protien bar
D - no idea...
Today's my b-day... I'm...uh.... 21... yeah, that's right! 21....
Probably won't do anything special tonight but I took tomorrow off work. Might go have a couple of beers with some friends tonight. Tomorrow night, we're going to dinner. Other than that, just gonna relax!
