Great job Kathy! I know what you mean about the wrist. When I wrap my hand around my wrist, I can almost touch my little finger and my thumb together, there's only about 1/8 inch apart. My watch, which has an elastic band, is starting to look like a bracelet, I need to get some links taken out.
I'll be taking my measurements on the 23rd. I know I've lost some inches this time because I recently dropped a clothing size. It was really fun to put a blouse on that I haven't worn since last Spring and it's starting to look a little baggy.
I'm almost happy where I'm at. My goal is to stay between 140-150 and I'm at 153.0 this morning. I know that there will be a little bounce-back so I want to get down to at least 140 before that happens. Anyway, I've stayed in "normal" BMI for at least a week now so I think I'm there to stay. So far my weight has been fluctuating between 152.6 and 154. Even though my loss has slowed tremendously, I'm happy with that. I'm healthy, not having any major food issues and I'm still exercising. Life is GOOOOOD!
I just looked and we're both at the same BMI...WOOHOOO!

Topic: Late 16 mth check in
Geee, been so busy I forgot what the date was.
I've found that I still have no rhyme or reason to my eatting. Some days I can eat something just fine and the next time - it sits hard after a couple of bites. Some days I can EASILY get in my water, others it's a struggle.
I had an apt for blood work this week, but had to cancel due to dh being sick. He had a BAD gout attack on sunday, went to ER and was given meds (he's had gout attacks for years now) Well, it appears that the ER doc, Over dosed him!!! He got deathly ill. It was horrible. He was white as a ghost, cold as an ice cube, and yet he was just dripping wet from head to toe. He was puking and had SEVERE diahreia for three days!!!! Well, we got him over that and back to work last night so life can continue now.
I'm having some strange problems (dont I always?!) I've had a handful of episodes where I will just start shaking. Remember I've said that I feel shaky on the inside quite often, but now my arms will just shake horribly. I feel like a Parkinson's patient. I can't pin point it to a certain time, or activity or anything. The ppl at my support group think that it's a rapid drop in sugar. I already eat every two hours. Yesteray was my worse episode and it was 40 minutes after I ate. I felt so horrible I had to get something out of the vending machine and eat a few bites to feel better. So, now I REALLY have to get my blood drawn and see what's up.
I'm getting more used to what I look like now. I don't grab the bigger sizes anymore. I almost feel like a "normal" person. My brain seems to be catching up with my weight loss now. It's great being "stable" weight wise, I don't have ppl asking my those stupid questions anymore (like, "you're not going to keep losing are you?") actually, no one has really mentioned my weight loss to me in a quite a few weeks. It's GREAT!!!!
Well, that's about all of my update for this month. Nothing else going on with me. School, chasing kids, driving them all over the place, going to football games and cross country meets, cooking, cleaning, etc...
