OK - I thought for sure that my ban on McDonalds was a good thing. But then I gained 5 pounds in the first week of September (yes, I realize it isn't REAL weight, but it's not fun looking at the scales none the less) 
Well, when I went grocery shopping I was looking for some good food to replace my burgers. I bought Whole Grain Bagels (lots of fiber) and cream cheese. I couldn't eat a whole one so I split them in half and lots of times I couldnt finish the half.
I ran out of bagels and forgot to buy more this week.........
Today I'm down 5 pounds, and I've lost one inch off my waist!!!!! 
It was the BAGELS!!!!!!!!
No more bagels for me! 
I'm meeting some wls friends at the mall today - think I'll celebrate and have my cheeseburger and apple dippers!!!

Well, Vegas is still hot. It's about 96 degrees tonight at 7:00 p.m. Actually, that somehow feels cool. I might even want to do some gardening nowadays. I don't really mind the heat, but I do miss having a nice fall and spring that lasts more than 2 weeks!

It's been kind of nasty and rainy here, cool in the mornings and evenings - around 50's or so, getting up into low 70s during the day but it's been so damp and nasty it seems a lot colder... I'm with you, I've been breaking out the sweaters, as well... No long undies, yet, though.

My day was all screwed up - 6th grade breakfast at Holden's school (nasty looking cinnamon rolls I didn't dare touch), meetings all day...
Pre B - Achieve One
B (late) - protein bar
MS (at lunch time) - med. peach
L (late) - 1/2 a julienne salad, some fruit
S - 2 cheese sticks
D - ham and cheese sandwhich (about 2/3), 1/2 cup of beef veggie soup, coupla beers
It's after 8, just got home, rained all day, no exercise. Water - sucky. Vits - all caught up...

my snack after lunch was a Detour protein bar.
Dinner I did have tuna on whole wheat crackers - blaaaah!!! I'm getting sick of the same old same old.
I'll have my protein drink later tonight and probably a handful of crackers.

Havent had much time to eat today, I started keeping a friend of mines little girl. She is 1 and a 1/2. Man shes bad, well not really but so much different from when Chandler was her age. Shes into EVERYTHING! She wants to be held all the time and is so winey. Chandler says to her this morning, Sara what is your problem? It was so funny. She only weighs 19 pounds and doesnt eat worth a flip. Im so glad Chandler turned out like he did. Anyways got a bite here and there so far:
B-oatmeal pancakes with SF syrup
L-tuna salad with SB crackers
S-protein shake
D-chicken tortilla roll ups via Stephanie on the grads board
S-fruit

You are so funny girl! Its suppose to rain here tonight and into tomorrow. Its been nice in the mornings, bout 66, then heating up to the low 80s in the daytime with a light breeze during the day. I love it, especially about 730 after the sun has went down. For the past few evenings we have been going outside and sitting on the porch after dinner. So not to cold here yet but its coming. I am one of those people who sleeps with a heating blanket but have the ceiling fan on at all times. Crazy I know but I love the humming of the fan at night. Terry turns on the blanket every night for me about 8ish so when we go to bed its nice and toasty. Needless to say the blanket is just on my side, Terry already sweats like a bear. Anyways....
