Topic: Hey Great Idea Kathy!
Your last post gave me a great idea. I will start a list of some of the most outrageous statements I have heard since having surgery and everyone add to it.
1. Did your surgery work?
2. Do you have to eat weird the rest of your life?
3. Aren't you afraid of all the hanging skin you will have?
4. I know people who have died from that surgery.
5. Do you feel better than you did before surgery?
6.
7.
8.
9.
10.

Now that sounds really yummy, Kathy. It makes me sorta want to make some. And topped with cheese, mmmmmmm.
Enjoying every morsel as the aroma spreads and invites others to salivate.
Bet she doesn't know she CAN eat like that and still be slim too

Sounds like a mixed bag, huh?
Well I am happy for you there were so many cheers.
warm moments with family and joy seeing sis surprised. Especially with all she has gone thru - it must have been especailly a sweet blessing to see her happiness.
Dealing with humans sometimes is not easy.
I ask God sometimes , WHY he would go to so much trouble and to such great lengths to have realtionships with - HUMANS?
...then remember...I is one, multi-faceted warts and all...
and it returns me to gratitude.
I sure can't change { them } but with his help and support from others I can keep plugging away at my character defects. (Which there is, of course no shortage of )
ho hum...
BTW,
the food sounded great, a fine feast! yummm.

We don't have much to eat at home other than some shredded chicken (chicken breasts cooked in the crockpot in canned diced tomatoes with some spices added later and shredded). Nothing fancy.
I heated some up for breakfast and the gal in the next office was haranguing me about smelling up the office in a good way and getting everyone hungry. Okay, whatever.
Then she says "If I ate like that... I'd be as big as a house".
Huh? Wha? Say agin?
I'm smaller than you, honey.
I have a couple of ounces of shredded meat spread on a plate with about 2 oz of cheese melted on top. This is breakfast.
As I said "Stupid Azz Statement Number 723". More to come...

Howdy...
I think we've met... :D
Goal - well, depends on goal... Still would love to see 149, but eh, that's just a number. I'm hovering between 151 and 154, I'm happy...
Plastics - December 12 - TT and BA - 98 (well, closer to 97) days now... Can you tell I'm excited?
Wow Moments - nah, not really, it's life at this point
Medical issues - got another doc appt Thursday. Everything came back clean. Only one BS problem since my last appt - I'm pretty sure it's jsut reactive hypo. Keeping tabs on it. Numbness comes and goes, upped my Bs, seems to be helping I guess. Gonna talk to him about testing me for B6 and B1.
Didn't ask, but I'm gonna throw it out there anyway - I'm REALLY struggling with night time eating... Like today, did great all day, got TONS of water in, high protein, low carb, low cal all day... Tonight I sat and ate 1/3 bag (small bag, at least) of mini rice cakes followed by some ham and cheese and crackers. Totally mindless. What the hell is wrong with me? Found myself doing that this weekend, too...
Not happy about it. Not happy at all.

Topic: RE: Tuesday: Whatcha eating today?
Okay, as an update:
D - 3 oz tuna on a cup of lettuce, some cukes and a few croutons, ff italian dressing, bite of pasta salad
NS - sf chocolate milk - used sf Qwik... It's an experiment. I've been dying for some chocolate milk but in the past have dumped off ANYTHING mixed with milk... I seem to handle NSA ice cream, though...
I figured if I can stomach this, I might buy some milk-based protein mixes, I'm a little worn on Nectar and Achievs are awful expensive.
Exercise - brisk walk for about 30 minutes until it started raining, major anxiety attack when my pants fell down also contributed to raising my heartrate quite a bit...

Anybody need a safety pin?
Congratulations on the Jogging Becky, It must feel so freeing to be able to get out there and actually jog. Kudos on getting out there and doing your exercise today!
Just tie those 2 stringie things together next time or you'll have a North Highlands following
