That's a bummer Heather. Remember that you're the PAYING customer!!! If the doctor is belittling you or dumping blame somewhere then I's say - GET A NEW DOCTOR!!!!! You don't have to put up with that kind of treatment. I've gone through a handful of doctors to find one that is respectable and treats me like a real human with real problems. (although my case is the opposite and most doctors tell me that my problems have nothing to do with wls when I know they do). Get some rest and take it easy on yourself!!! laurie

Here I am againup at wellnow its 5am but I have been up at 3:30 cant sleep I guess too much to do ,too much on my mind.I guess its that time of year..ugh..I have had a pinched nerve in my shoulder for days trying like heck to get rid of it ..still there.I have trouble with meds they just burn through me soooo fast or they have the opposite effect on me.I am going to call the doctor today to see what they suggest.Ive tried heat,cold ,tylenol,heating pad.Cant call into work since I own my own buisness... I do alot of permitting for the county so I need somthing that wont make me drowsey.Anyways it makes me irritable by the end of the day((my neck thing).I even had a massage,sat in the hot tub for a while and put the shower on super hot.Probably stress since the holidays,my daughters b-day is the 24th she is having a 50 people party (she is only 13!!!) and on the 18th I am closing on a new commercial/residential property thats costing 800,000$$$$ Okay now you know Y my neck hurts ..plus I havent started my x-mas shopping.I dont know what to ask the doctor for as in meds.I am full of anxiety now should go away after the holidays but I cant be getting up ,no sleep and being so irritable .Sorry to vent nobody undersatnds me esp whats going on they think I should be happy ,thrilled and really I am ,just having a neck that wont stop kinking and I am quite thank-ful just wishing for January !!!! Sorry to hear about your health problems, Heather. I hope this round of antibiotics will help you. One question, did you have problems with sinus/ear infections prior to your gastric bypass, or is this a new problem? This is one infection I haven't heard blamed on WLS before. Best of luck to you.
