May 3, 2011 support plz
Surgery date is set for 8:30 am on May 3, 2011. The liquid diet is in progress. Yes, it sucks! Yes, it is hard! The first 3 days were the worst for me, oh yeah and then Easter wasn't too much fun either. Thankfully a week from now, at this time, I should be done with my surgery
and working on healing. Is anyone else having their surgery in the beginning of May?
I am looking for some friends with a similar situation as mine to compare stories, and for support.
I have a BMI under 40, with comorbidities of Diabetes and High Blood Pressure. My BMI was once over 40, but I tried losing weight on my own, before resorting to wls, and lost a little.
I am also looking for post op persons that have a similar story to mine that are already in progress to, or have reached their goals, just for guidance. Any advice to someone ready to have the surgery?
