I've had that on a few occasions, but not usually. If I do get it I will take a very small sip of water just to make my body happy and then I find something to do (like dishes or laundry) to take my mind off it until I can drink again. Bekah

Pam, I had no idea! I'm so sorry that you're going through a rough time right now - my dad has prostate cancer and I see how hard things are for him right now so I can kinda relate. Have you tried a Ricotta Bake? Its really tasty but soft and goes down great... 3/4 c. Ricotta cheese 1/4 c. Cottage cheese 1/4 c. Shredded parmesan cheese 1/2-3/4 c. no sugar added Marinara sauce 1/4 c. mozarella cheese Mix up the first 3 ingredients and fill 4 ramekins about 3/4 full Put about 2 Tablespoons of Marinara on top and top with Mozarella Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until bubbly. Very tasty, soft, and full of protein! (((hugs))) you're in my thoughts! Bekah

Jackie, I think you've done great with 81 pounds!!! It sounds like you've been through a lot and you have some case specific problems/concerns. What was your surgeon's advice? Have you been back to the NUT? Sometimes it just takes tweaking things a little to get the scales moving again... I'm 14 pounds below my surgeon's goal but still have 7 pounds to reach my personal goal and its coming off very slowly now and I think that's normal for our phase. Good luck to you sorry I don't have any specific advice for you... (((hugs))) Bekah

Keep up the good work, before you know it you'll be at your goal! Do you ever post on the reg. lab band board? Jen

I think that we all after a while try to fall back into the old habits. And it is a habit. I probably go on t/computer too much for that reason. But for me...when that old habit tries to creep back, I imediatly try to do something else to put my mind off it. For me one of t/worse times is...while watching T.V. (all those darn commersials.)

Hi Jen, I'm a bander June 12/07. I weighed in to the hosp. 297lbs. I weigh 202 right now. I've had some trouble w/my port. Had it out twice. It's out right now. Doc plans on putting it back 02/26/08 again. I keep getting a bad infection around it. You know what they say...Third times t/charm. We can always hope. Even w/the trouble, I'd do it again in a heartbeat. I'm pretty agressive with the program. I don't mix carbs with my fats & protiens. I love the band !!!

Sorry - probably won't happen for me for 2 more weeks. I had 2 weeks with loss; now I'll stay steady for a couple of weeks. But don't let me stop you -- go on without me!

I personally seem thirsty all the time. I am drinking upwards of a gallon a day, if not more.
