Absolutely!!! And at the most inopertune moments. My 12 year old G girl.. says "GRANDMA!!!" Most embarrassing was at Easter.. bent over in front of Older G girl's new boyfriend. THen when I laughed it was non stop.
I have not tried GasX but am going to.

as long as i avoid sugar alcohols and fiber one bars all is ok.

Yes I have had it since surgery. It's awful--just ask my family!
It gets worse with too many carbs (don't know a gram amount, just know that if I have starcy vegies, crackers and such, it's worse)
Also if I have sugar alcohols. Oh my goodness...watch out for me then!
I take Gas X strips to help.

The nutritionist told me to take beano or gas x.

I do. Don't have any advice for you though. I might start trying GasX and see if that works. Doesn't matter what I eat, I have it every day. Definately not a good time.
