The very first step to regaining control is realizing what your doing...so you are on the right track.
I have caught myself falling into some old patterns...senseless eating. Been especially bad this last week with all the Easter Candy in the house. I am back on track though....Thank goodness for fitday.com I can see it in Black and white.
We are all human and we will all eat things we shouldn't. Trick is to let it go and start fresh again tomorrow and not to fall back into the pattern of feeling bad for eating bad then eating bad some more...etc
You can do it...so can I...

I hear you! I go through periods where I want everything I can think of! I'm just lucky that it's not in the house. It's a different story at work though. At least that's controlled snacking...a small piece of birthday cake this week. Last week, a piece of chocolate. No ill effects other than worry that it will get out of control.
We're still human and are allowed to have snacks. Just keep track of them and don't turn it into senseless grazing. My dr just reminded me at my 9 month visit: hydration first, then protein, and exercise. At no time does he even mention low fat, low carb, no snacks.
You'll do it! Go, girl!

has anyone started snacking? i feel like i'm not happy unless i'm gorging myself... what the hell i did so good for so long. and WTF i gained 3 lbs. please some one kick my ASS! i'm going to start my food diary up again tomorrow. i'm getting pleanty of exercise/water and all that... so i'm not worried about that. it's just been the last couple of weeks. my periods are all funky too! i'm on that mirena IUC and i think that might be part of my malfunction. i was hoping that if this happened with the snacking that i'd at least get sick... what the hell, why can't that happen to me?
other than that i feel wonderful... i've had no complications or anything like that. i feel like i'm totally blessed to have had the surgery and I'm thankful for the changes in my life. . . i just pray that i don't screw it up~!
Okay that's about it for me...

I was in Kmart and this lady kept looking at me (i didn't recognize her)
Well as i was unloading my cart into my car,She comes up to me and she says to me are you the realtor lady...I was like yes she said to me YOU LOOK GREAT!! i was like thank you but i am sorry i don't remember you, she said you and your husband were doing a open house about a year ago that i went to and then i saw you and your husband a few weeks ago in the grocery store but i wasn't sure if it was you or not lol.....and today i saw you and had to say something to you.
I was like well thank you so much for saying something to me and you made my day!
Then today when i was doing floor time at the office another realtor from a different company came in that i have not seen since last summer she was like WOW LOOK AT YOU...LOL....I ALMOST DIDN'T RECOGNIZE YOU.......

I have already posted about people not recognising me....it's happening with more and more frequency. It's getting to be quite commical....LOL
Over the weekend Hubby and I walked past a couple that we know as they were leaving and we were going into Walmart. He waved to my Husband ( I was a few feet behind) then he see me wave and did a double take...then quite loudly to his wife says..."Is THAT Becky?...Holy crap!!" I was out of ear shot by then and didn't hear the rest.
This afternoon a former client who's child aged out of my program 2 years ago knocked on my door to borrow my phone. As I opened the door she says "Hi Becky....Oops, sorry I was expecting Becky....." as she started to explain who she was I said..."Yes...I'm Becky" then she stopped cold and stared at me for a minute like she didn't believe me. Then started the usual "OMG OMG OMG ..." that I am hearing a LOT lately.....LOL..
Its quite entertaining...I'm toying with the possibility of just letting them think I'm not me...LOL

Wow girlie!! You are doing the darn thing..
Girl I bought a body slimmer (that is made w/ the same material the use for burn victims) to slide my ever so loving love handles until I get down enough to do something about the loose skin..I have to admit its not as bad as I thought. I use to joke w/ my hubby and say.."Don't forget to pay attention to my back boobs"..ha ha ha I'm so glad they are almost gone and that all of us here are healthier!!
