June 1 - Two more days!

My date is only two days away!  I am in some kind of cloud.  I think I am trying not to think about it too much and I am kind of flaked out.  Want to go through my pre-op packet a couple more times.  Terri-Lynne

Hi.  I am just finding these posts for some reason.  I see you will be at Duke as well.  We will be in good hands.  I am not flaking out tonight, just wish I had bought more actual Chicken Noodle Soup instead of broth.  Broth is nasty to me right now.  T

My date is 6/1, too. Best of luck to you. I have been so excited about my surgery the last couple of weeks. I think I have been in the same cloud! Now that it is a day away, I am a bit anxious, but I am still super excited. I decided to register for this site and read about everyone's success to keep me motivated. I can't wait!

It is finally here!  I am still in my cloud.  A hungry one though.  I have two cups of jello left that I made last night and the broth is making me sick just to smell it.  My husband if from Kerrville, TX.  We are coming down this summer to visit family.  Best of wishes.  T

Well Terri, we will be in there together.  I am so ready as well.  Not nervous and looking through my book to make sure I haven't forgoten anything.  I am kinda dreading drinking this magnesium nitrate, but I have  been on liquids for so long, this shouldn't be too hard. Take care and hope all goes well.

Thanks.  I have read and re-read all my papers all day.  I am packed and just ready to go.  The Mag. stuff was terrible!  I am still going and tired of it!  I am sorry you had to do liquids for a while.  My Dr. doesn't require it.  One day of this pre-op stuff is enough for me.  I do have to do a liquid diet for three weeks following surgery.  Best of wishes to you.  T
