I am to be surger-ized on July 11th (sorry for the custom making of words). I think this is the first time in my life I am really excited about something.. but I do not want to jinx myself so I am still trying to make it appear like I am not all that concerned about it. I was in my ob-gyn's office today and the person at the counter next to me was making an appt. She made it for 5 weeks from now, and the appt. she got was July 11th - my ears perked up and I was like, "OMG. I only have five weeks left!" Reality is rather frightening.... but, whoo hoo! ;>

congradulations on your date.. just keep praying and aggravating your insurance.. i called mine every day.. till i think they got tired of me and just gave in .. laughs.. ill be parying for you..

well I have finally got a date for surgery.. got all my insurances and ducks in a row.. Im to have surgery July 7 at 8am.. and I wi**** was tomorrow.. I would like to take a minute to let you all know about my dr.. his name is Roger Blake he is such a nice man.. good manners.. he is out to help his patients no matter what it takes.. and I thank God for him.. Yall pray for him and me.

Oh my gosh....I feel the same way!! I think I have gained 10 pounds in the past 7 weeks waiting for surgery! about the hunger issue...I think it is different for everyone...I have heard some say they have to force themselves to eat and others say they are starving. personally i think it would be mostly in your head. because for most of us we are giving up our best friend--FOOD!
