I had the same thing at 3.5 months out. My doctor said take more magnesium. It helped. (He also mentioned the dehydration.)

Hi Stacie,
I'm doing the same thing. I have noticed that I am only losing weight the week after my period. The other 3 wks, I'm up a pound, down a pound, etc. I have another 42 lbs to go to my personal goal. Fortunately, we are only 6 mos into this and we still have another year to continue to lose. I have no doubt that either of us will be able to. We just have to stay positive!!!

I was 6 months post op January 1st. I am down 116 pounds but have not loss anything for the past 3 weeks. I am eating around 1200 calories a day. I was wondering how many of you are eating at this point? Have you noticed your loss slowing down too? I am thrilled with my loss so far, but I still have at least another 60 to go. Do you think it is possible for me to make it?

Congratulations, Michelle!!! I'm only 1 pound ahead of you. We are almost a part of the Century Club!!! Won't that be great?? Of course with my luck, it will probably take me 2 wks to lose those two pounds! LOL

Topic: YIPPEE...Down 97 lbs and feeling GREAT!!
Just wanted to share my excitement at loosing 97 lbs and 10 sizes in 6 months...I am back in the gym and feeling great! Good luck to everyone in the process of making this big decision and to those who already did...CONGRATUATIONS!!
FYI...went to Old Country Buffet with my family the other night...because I am no longer going to hide from food now that I am in control...and they wouldn't honor the bariatric surgery card and charge me for a children's portion....I had to pay $10.00 for a small chicken leg and 3 small pieces of lettuce!! Pass the word...they think we are liars about having the surgery and what we can eat!! From the mouth of the manager!

Topic: RE: 6 MONTH BLUES
Ya'll are definitely not alone in the feelings of getting off track. I have been eating a few things that I know that I shouldn't have. The one thing that I can say is that I still get my water in and I do try to eat my protein first. I still listen to my body and know when I am full. Lastnight, we went out for mexican food. I had chicken fajita and cheese. I didn't eat tortillas but I did have some chips and queso. I have had a couple of cookies here and there. I did real well during the holidays. I have been on a plateau for over 2 weeks but I lost a lb yesterday. Thats when I get discouraged. "Am I gonna lose anymore?" crosses my mind several times. I don't have the fear of gaining it back though. Everyone's feelings are valid. Hang in there..... 280/174 -106

Hey!!! I feel great, now. I, too, have lost exactly 87 pounds! I thought I was way behind because so many have posted that they've reached the Century Club by 6 months and felt like maybe I hadn't tried hard enough or something. So, I guess we are right on track! Best wishes with the ongoing "struggle"
