Hi Shann!!
You look fab! I had surgery 7/12/06 --started out at 257 and am currently 179 so I have lost 78 lbs. I went from a super tight 24 to a 14 now. I am a slow loser compared to many but I feel great. I do know that i need to start working out more and that will help--now with the warm weather coming in--i sure will start that!

I would agree you aren't eating enough especially with your workout routine.
Good Luck & You are not done losing

So I asked my nieces....I've lost the equivilent of the oldest one and the youngest one combined! I think I've lost what my sister weighs!! Amazing!
How did we ever do it? I can't imagine carrying those people around all day every day!

Check with your Nut., but I don't think you're eating enough! I normally get in around 1,000 calories a day or just slightly more. Your body may be in starvation mode, which means it's holding onto fat because it's not sure you're gonna give it enough food in the future. I'd bet if you ate just a bit more you'd start losing again.
Hope that helps!

Wow is right! I'll have to ask my nieces what they weigh so I can get a better visual!

Topic: Calories????
Hello all!!!
I was just wondering what kind of foods and how much of each you eat...I am only getting in according to fitday.com around 500-800 calories and this includes my 2 protein shakes that I do...Here is my normal menu:
Breakfast - protein shake with 1 1/2 scoops of protein
snack - southbeach bar
lunch 2 oz of chicken, 1 oz of veggies
dinner - 2 oz of chicken, 1 oz applesauce, 1 oz of veggies
pre-work out - protein shake 1 1/2 scoops protein (not everyday either)
And I have not lost any poundage since Dec and I am really worried that I am done losing the weight...I still have about 60 lbs to go...don't get me wrong I am really pleased to have lost the 71 lbs I have...
I workout daily on the treadmill anywhere from 30 mins to 1 hr, every other day I weightlift, and everyday I walk up and down 88 stairs 4 times or more a day...can someone please give me some advise on what to do...I am open for all options....
Oh sorry I am 5'11" and as of Friday I was at 246 lbs
Thanks for the help

Cool, Lynette!!!
I recently realized I had stopped carrying my dog around with me everywhere I went. She is an 85 pound collie . . . Amazing, isn't it?

I'll join you in the celebration of being in the "overweight" category.
